I can't even count how many times I've attempted to start a blog. Over the years I've observed various things and had many thoughts that I wanted to elaborate on. That I've felt like I was suppose to write about but was unsure of whether I should share or not. Although I have NO trouble talking face to face with people either one on one or before a large crowd there is something intimidating about committing to write in a blog. Toss in some fear like: "Will anyone even want to read this?" Heap on the excuses of "I'm too busy", "I don't really know how to do this." and "I'm such a perfectionist it will take me FOREVER to write anything worthwhile" and procrastination seeps in to paralyze.
Thus, this is the official christening of this Blog that I created on July 3, 2010 but am just now MAKING myself do because inspiration has overcome the doubts. Last weekend I was so blessed to be able to attend Hutchmoot 2010 in Nashville. www.hutchmoot.com (I know a funny word...and I'll explain later in following posts).
It was an experience that has left me with too many thoughts to process and too many words I want to say although the event itself was quite indescribable. So, as all good Storytellers hope for- "I invite you to journey with me." :)
